Care and servicing

Rinse off sand and dust with lukewarm water first, then dry the lens with a soft microfibre cloth — wiping it dry and using a paper towel will scratch the mirror coating. Carry the sunglasses in a case or pouch.

Questions and answers

What are the holes at the sides of the lens for?

Ventilation. They carry heated air away from behind the lens also when riding slowly and when stopped, so your eyes do not sting and the lens fogs more slowly.

How does the Smoke Matt version differ from the White Matt?

In the colour of the frame. Both have a gold mirror S3 lens letting through 10% of light and side ventilation; Smoke Matt has a matt smoke frame, White Matt a matt white one.

Can I ride at dusk in these sunglasses?

No. The S3 lens lets through 10% of light and is meant for strong sun; at dusk and in dense shade it dims the image too much.

How do the Skyryse differ from the Sportstyle 235?

In ventilation and fit. The Skyryse have side vents in the lens that carry heat away from under the sunglasses even when you are stationary. The Sportstyle 235 focus on fit: you can press the malleable tips of the temples under the helmet straps, and some versions have a lighter S2 lens.
