Choosing your size
Sizes are given as an EU number and an insole length. According to the manufacturer's chart, for example, EU 39 has a 250 mm insole and fits a foot length of 24.1–25.0 cm.
Measure your foot in centimetres: heel against a wall, a sheet of paper on the floor, a mark at the end of the longest toe. Use the longer foot.
A figure skate should hold the heel without play, so don't add extra room beyond what the chart gives.

Care and servicing
After skating, dry the blades with a cloth and dry the boot at room temperature, away from a radiator. Plastic blade guards are only for walking from the changing room to the ice — a wet blade kept in them rusts.

Are the skates ready to use straight away?

Do the blades rust after contact with water?
They shouldn't — they are made of stainless steel. Even so, dry them after every skate and store the skates in a dry place.
