- Two-layer felt with reinforcement in the middle. By replacing the tongue, you change its stiffness, and with it the pressure on the instep.

- You can change the blade without tools, so you replace worn steel yourself instead of leaving the skates for service.

Choosing your size
Intermediate is a sizing designation, not a player's level: the model sits between Junior and Senior, and differs from the Senior version in boot size and cuff shape. Measure your foot in millimetres, from the heel to the end of the longest toe, and compare the result with the length given for each size. Hockey skates have their own size scale, so do not carry over the number of your everyday shoes one to one.
The boot is slightly wider than in typical competition models and can be heat-moulded, so it is easier to fit to the foot. If you fall between two sizes, try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Care and servicing
New skates are not sharpened at the factory, so sharpen them before the first outing. After every outing, dry the blades and let the boot dry.

Are CCM Ribcor 86K Intermediate skates sharpened at the factory?
No. New skates must be sharpened before the first outing. You can add sharpening to the order or have it done in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
How does Intermediate differ from Senior?
In the size and proportions of the boot, not in technology. The construction is the same, and Intermediate means a sizing between Junior and Senior, not the player's level of advancement.
Can the boot be fitted to the foot?
Yes, it can be heat-moulded: after heating, it adapts to the shape of the foot. Ask about heat-moulding in our shops in Poznań and Wrocław.
Can I replace the blade myself?
Yes. The SpeedBlade XS system lets you change the blade without tools.
Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?
Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
