In brief

Luminous LED 100 mm / 85A fluorescent blue light-up wheels are a set of 3 wheels for one three-wheel skate. They combine two effects: LEDs triggered by a magnetic spacer light up while skating, and the Glow material, once charged by light, gives a blue glow at a standstill too. Bullet profile, 608 bearings, 8 mm axles. For night skating, city skating and fast freeride.

Brand: Luminous
Model: Luminous LED
Diameter: 100 mm
Hardness: 85A
Quantity: 3 (set for one three-wheel skate)
Intended use: three-wheel skates (triskate); night skating, city skating, fast freeride

Who it’s for

You skate on 3 × 100 mm three-wheel skates and want to be visible on night rides.
You stop at lights and crossings — the Glow remains even when the wheels are still.
You like fast city skating and freeride on large wheels, and want to change the look of your skates at the same time.

When to choose something else

Your skates have four wheels or a frame for a different diameter — check the print on your old wheels and browse skate wheels.
You want a set for both skates in one pack — 3 wheels is one skate, so for a pair order two sets.

Key features

LEDs triggered by a magnetic spacer: The light comes on by itself when the wheel turns around the spacer from the set, and goes out after you stop.
Glow effect: Once charged by light, fluorescent urethane gives off a soft blue glow in the dark — also when you are standing still.
100 mm diameter: A large wheel for fast, smooth skating; it fits three-wheel skates with a 3 × 100 mm frame.
85A hardness: A compromise between speed and vibration damping on city asphalt.
Bullet profile: The conical tread has a smaller contact area with the ground, which gives speed and manoeuvrability.
608 bearings and 8 mm axles: Classic 608 bearings (ABEC, ILQ) fit. For skates with 6 mm axles, choose reducing spacers.

Care and servicing

Swap the wheels around regularly so that they wear evenly. Before an evening skate, expose them to light — then the Glow is brighter.

Questions and answers

Do the wheels glow when standing still too?

Yes, but more weakly. The LEDs light up only while skating, and at a standstill the blue Glow remains — provided the wheels have caught the light beforehand.

How many sets do I need for a pair of skates?

Two. A set is 3 wheels and 3 magnetic spacers, i.e. one three-wheel skate.

Do they fit skates with 6 mm axles?

Yes, with reducing spacers, which you buy separately — see spacers and axles. Without a reducer the wheels fit 8 mm axles.

Are bearings included?

No. The set is 3 wheels and 3 magnetic spacers. You move 608 bearings over from the old wheels or choose them separately.

Can I return the wheels if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
