In brief

Luminous LED light-up wheels 100 mm / 85A white are a set of 3 wheels for one 3×100 mm 3-wheel frame. The white LEDs, among the brightest in the Luminous range, are powered by a magnetic dynamo — no batteries. The 85A polyurethane has a full, round-elliptical profile. The included magnetic spacers fit an 8 mm axle; for a pair of skates you need two packs.

Brand: Luminous
Model: Luminous LED
Diameter: 100 mm
Hardness: 85A
Quantity: 3 (a set for one 3-wheel frame)
Intended use: 3×100 mm 3-wheel skates, urban and freeskate skating

Who it’s for

You skate around town on 3×100 mm 3-wheel skates and want to be more visible after dark.
You want the brightest light possible — white LEDs are among the brightest in the Luminous range.
You want wheels whose colour suits any skates: black shells and colourful fitness models.
You are planning your own colour set — white on one skate, another colour on the other.

When to choose something else

Your frame takes 110 mm wheels — get the white Luminous LED 110 mm.
You have four-wheel skates — this pack contains 3 pieces; see the white 80 mm in a set of 4.

Key features

White LEDs: Among the brightest in the Luminous range, so they give a strong light after dark.
Magnetic dynamo instead of batteries: The LEDs are powered by the movement of the wheel and the included magnetic spacer. You do not charge them or replace batteries.
100 mm diameter: It accelerates more easily than 110 or 125 mm and keeps the centre of gravity lower, while handling pavement irregularities better than 80 mm.
Hardness 85A: Abrasion-resistant polyurethane that still grips in corners on city asphalt.
Full profile: The round-elliptical cross-section lets you lay the skate over smoothly in a turn.
A set for one frame: Three wheels fill one 3×100 mm skate, so it is easy to put together two colours — one for each foot.

Care and servicing

From time to time rotate the wheels, because they wear mainly along the inner edge.

Questions and answers

Are 3 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

No. Three wheels are a set for one 3-wheel frame. For both skates order two packs, 6 wheels in total.

Do the wheels need batteries?

No. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo, so the wheels glow when you skate. The condition: the magnetic spacers from the set must sit between the bearings.

Can I keep my old spacers?

Not if you want the wheels to glow. The LEDs only work with the included magnetic spacers, which fit an 8 mm axle.

How does a 100 mm wheel differ from a 110 mm?

A 100 mm wheel is easier to get up to speed and gives a lower centre of gravity, which means more control in a busy city. For 110 mm you need a frame that takes the larger diameter.

Can I return the wheels if they do not fit the frame?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
