In brief

Luminous LED 90 mm / 85A light pink Flaming light-up wheels are a set of 4 wheels made of semi-transparent polyurethane in a shade of light pink (the Flamingo variant, also known as Cotton Candy). In motion they give a soft pink glow, and the LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo with no batteries. The 90 mm diameter is for faster city skating and fitness; magnetic spacers are included.

Brand: Luminous
Model: Luminous LED
Diameter: 90 mm
Hardness: 85A
Number of pieces: 4 (set for one four-wheel skate)
Intended use: fast city skating and fitness

Who it’s for

You skate fast in the city or train for fitness after dark and want to be visible to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
You have skates with a frame that takes 90 mm wheels, and you are replacing a worn-out set.
You like pastel colours and prefer a soft pink glow to a harsh white light.
You do not want to remember about charging or about replacing batteries in the wheels.

When to choose something else

The frame of your skates does not take 90 mm wheels — check the print on your old wheels and see 84 mm wheels or 80 mm.
You need wheels for a pair of skates in one pack — the set is 4 pieces, which is wheels for one four-wheel skate.

Key features

Magnetic dynamo instead of batteries: The LEDs are powered by the movement of the wheels, so you charge nothing and replace no batteries.
Light pink semi-transparent polyurethane: The light of the LEDs passes through the light material and gives a distinct but soft pink glow.
90 mm diameter: A large wheel rolls for longer and absorbs bumps in the pavement better than smaller sizes; it needs a frame that takes 90 mm.
85A hardness: A universal hardness: a balance between ride comfort and resistance to abrasion, and the polyurethane wears slowly and evenly.
Full profile: Gives stability at higher speeds.
Magnetic spacers in the set: Each wheel has a spacer with a magnet that works with the dynamo — you fit it in place of the existing one.

Care and servicing

From time to time swap the wheels around, as they wear mainly on the inner edge.

Questions and answers

Do light-up wheels need batteries?

No. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo, so the wheels glow when they turn. There are no batteries and no charging.

Are 4 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

No. Four wheels are a set for one four-wheel skate. For a pair you need two sets.

Will 90 mm wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame of your skates takes 90 mm wheels and the bearings are the 608 standard. If your old wheels are printed 90 mm, the swap is direct; with smaller ones, first check the largest diameter your frame allows.

What light do the Flaming wheels give?

Light pink. The light of the LEDs passes through the semi-transparent pink polyurethane and gives a warm, soft glow; by day the wheels are a pastel pink.

Can I return the wheels if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
