Who it’s for

You skate marathons, track races or long endurance training sessions on a smooth, dry surface.
You have many kilometres behind you on speed skating wheels and want the lowest rolling resistance the VooDoo series offers.

When to choose something else

You skate skate cross or on uneven and wet surfaces – XX-Firm is too hard for that. See other 100 mm wheels of lower hardness.

MTech Soft Heart, Hard Body: The soft 63A inner ring damps vibration and stabilises the wheel in turns, and the hard outer urethane gives speed and wear resistance.
XX-Firm hardness: The hardest VooDoo variant gives the lowest rolling resistance and good energy transfer on smooth, dry asphalt.
Pigment-free Magic Urethane: The compound is meant to give quick acceleration, a long life and temperature resistance.
Natural Turbo Hub core: A redesigned, stiffer hub transfers the energy of your push better. Each is cast in a single mould (one-cavity), so the wheel geometry is repeatable.

The wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. From time to time swap their positions and turn them round so that they wear evenly.

What surfaces are the VooDoo 100 mm XX-Firm wheels for?

Hard, dry and smooth: tracks, roads and marathon routes.

How does XX-Firm differ from Firm and X-Firm?

In hardness. Firm is 82–84A (more grip, wet or uneven routes), X-Firm 84–86A (all-round, dry surfaces), XX-Firm 86–88A (top speed and lowest resistance).

Are these wheels suitable for skate cross?

No. They are too hard: they are optimised for smooth tracks and long distances.

What does MTech technology give?

It combines a soft inner ring with hard outer urethane: grip and control in turns and better use of energy on the straight.
