Care and servicing

The wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. Every so often, swap their positions and flip them to the other side so that they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

How does X-Firm differ from Firm and XX-Firm?

In hardness. Firm (approx. 83A) is for wet or rough surfaces, X-Firm (84–86A) is the all-round version for dry, smooth roads and tracks, and XX-Firm is the hardest — for tracks and very smooth surfaces.

Are the VooDoo 110 mm X-Firm wheels suitable for skate cross?

Yes. They have low rolling resistance and respond quickly when accelerating, which is why they are often chosen for skate cross and urban speed skating.

Are these wheels good for wet surfaces?

No. X-Firm works best on dry, smooth roads and tracks; for wet conditions the Firm version or the rain Storm Surge wheels are better.

How does MTech technology work?

A soft inner ring is bonded to a harder outer urethane. The wheel flexes in the corners, which gives grip, and on the straights it rebounds and keeps its speed.

Are 8 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

Yes, for a pair of 4 × 110 mm skates. For 3 × 110 mm frames you need 6 wheels.
