In brief

Rollerblade APEX 76 mm / 80A is a set of 4 black skate wheels intended for urban skating, fitness and freestyle. The 76 mm diameter rolls more steadily and faster than smaller wheels, and 80A hardness balances grip with resistance to wear. Durable polyurethane withstands intensive skating; the wheels suit beginners and advanced skaters.

Who it’s for

  • You have skates on 76 mm wheels and want to replace a worn set.
  • You skate around town and on paths, and expect calm rolling and a degree of grip from your wheels.
  • You prefer soft 80A because your routes are rough asphalt and paving stones, on which hard wheels shake a lot.

When to choose something else

Key features

76 mm diameter
Rolls more steadily and holds speed longer than 68 or 72 mm, while the skate stays manoeuvrable in city traffic.
80A hardness
A softer compound than the popular 84–85A: it grips the ground better and damps vibration, but wears faster on rough asphalt.
Abrasion-resistant polyurethane
The tread keeps its profile for longer with frequent skating.
Black colour
Suits most skates, and asphalt marks are barely visible on it.

Care and servicing

The wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. From time to time swap their positions and turn them round so that they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

Are 4 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

No, if each of your skates has four wheels of this diameter – then you need two sets. Four wheels fit a pair only if each skate runs on two large wheels.

Will these wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame on your skates is designed for 76 mm wheels. The easiest way is to check the print on your old wheels.

How does 80A hardness differ from 84–85A?

80A is softer. It gives more grip and comfort on a rough surface, but wears faster than harder wheels.

Which APEX diameter should I choose: 68, 72 or 76 mm?

The one printed on your current wheels. If the frame takes more than one, a smaller wheel gives manoeuvrability and a larger one speed.

Can I return the wheels?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
