Composite shell of high stiffness: The boot does not deform under pressure, so when skating faster and training hard the foot is stable and the skate reacts without delay.
Anti Torsion Box: The stiffening limits boot twisting along the foot — the push-off energy goes to the wheels, not into flexing the shell.
Premium Skate Liner Plus: The inner boot adapts to the foot and holds the heel, which gives control when changing direction and braking.
Cushioning in the rear of the boot: Shock absorbers limit the vibration passed to the joints, which you feel on cobblestones and cracked asphalt.

Care and servicing

Every dozen or so hours of skating, swap the wheels between positions and rotate them, because they wear unevenly. After skating in the rain, dry the boot and bearings the same day.

Is the Maxxum XT suitable for first skates?

Rather not. It is a stiff model on 90 mm wheels, designed for people who already skate confidently; it is easier to start learning on skates with smaller wheels.

How do 90 mm wheels differ from 80 mm?

90 mm wheels roll faster and go over unevenness more calmly, while 80 mm ones are more manoeuvrable and accelerate more easily. The Maxxum XT feels better on longer routes than in tight manoeuvres.

Are these urban or fitness skates?

Both. The hard shell and Anti Torsion Box derive from the urban Twister Edge, and the 90 mm wheels and 280 mm frame work well on longer fitness training sessions.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
