Who it’s for

  • You are buying your first serious skates and want a boot that holds the ankle firmly from the first skate.
  • You skate around town, to work or recreationally and value control more than speed.
  • You want to get out on the path straight away — the brake is already fitted.

When to choose something else

  • You jump, slide or train slalom — the Twister XT has better hardware and more adjustment.
  • You are looking for a soft, breathable boot for long routes — see fitness skates.

Key features

RB shell with ventilation and lateral support
A strong, moulded shell stabilises the foot, and the side openings carry heat away.
Performance liner for a woman's foot
Lining cut for women's anatomy, with heel cushioning that damps shocks.
Three-point fastening
A buckle on the cuff, a 45° buckle and laces: you tighten each zone of the boot separately.
Urban 80 mm / 82A wheels
Slightly softer than the typical 85A, so they grip better and absorb the bumps of an urban surface.
243 mm aluminium frame
A stiff, extruded frame with a low centre of gravity: manoeuvrable and precise to guide.
Factory-fitted brake
The skates are ready to ride straight out of the box.

Choosing your size

The RB 80 W comes in single sizes, described by insole length in millimetres, e.g. 230 mm is EU 36.5, 250 mm — EU 39, 270 mm — EU 42.

Measure your foot standing, from the heel to the end of the longest toe, and compare the result with the insole length. Choose a size equal to that length or a few millimetres longer.

A hard shell doesn't stretch, so don't buy “tight” thinking the boot will loosen — only the liner settles in over time.

Measure your foot in millimetres (heel against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe) and choose an insole equal to that length or 2–5 mm longer. Full measuring guide

Care and servicing

After skating, loosen the buckles and laces so the liner dries. Every 20–30 hours, rotate the wheels, swapping positions and sides; after skating in the wet, take out the bearings and dry them.

Questions and answers

Are the RB 80 W suitable for a beginner?

Yes. This is a model for beginners and intermediate skaters: a hard boot stabilises the ankle and the brake is factory-fitted.

Is the brake included?

Yes, it is already fitted. The skates are ready to ride straight out of the box.

How do the RB 80 W differ from the RB Pro X W?

In the hardware. The RB 80 W has Urban 80 mm / 82A wheels and SG7 bearings, the RB Pro X W has Supreme Urban wheels and Twincam ILQ-7 Plus bearings. Both models have a hard boot and a 243 mm aluminium frame.

Is a hard boot comfortable for longer skating?

Yes, if the size is well chosen. The shell has side ventilation and the Performance liner cushions the heel.
