Care and servicing
You can remove the rubber RS shields for cleaning and lubrication. When the bearings start to slow down, clean them and lubricate them again.
Questions and answers
What ABEC rating do Stelior bearings have?
None. Stelior does not use the ABEC scale and states that its titanium steel bearings are more precise and faster than ABEC 9 bearings.
How do they differ from Twincam ILQ-9?
Stelior states faster spinning, lower rolling resistance and greater durability than ILQ-9. On top of that come the rubber RS shields and the titanium coating.
Steel, hybrid or full-ceramic?
Titanium steel bearings are fast and durable — for everyday skating and competitions. Hybrids with ceramic balls give even more precision, and the full-ceramic Pro White Ceramic are completely corrosion-proof and meant strictly for racing.
Which grease should I choose?
Bones Speed Cream if you want minimum resistance; Rollerblade Dry Fluid as a compromise between speed and protection; Stelior Ceramic Grease for skating in tough conditions, although it gives greater resistance.
How many bearings do I need for my skates?
16 for a pair of four-wheel skates — two for each of the eight wheels, with a spacer between them. This set has exactly that many pieces.
