Key features

ABT brake (Active Brake Technology): You brake by pushing the leg with the brake forward. All the wheels stay in contact with the ground the whole time, so you stop smoothly and without losing balance.
Brake on the right or the left skate: It sits on the right skate as supplied. If you brake better with your left leg, it can be moved.
Aluminium frame: Stiffer than a plastic one: it passes the push-off on to the wheels without flexing and keeps them in line.
Performance 80 mm wheels and SG5 bearings: The 80 mm diameter gives moderate speed and good control — it is easier to learn on such wheels than on big ones.
Anatomical ventilated liner: The inner boot is contoured to the foot and breathable, and the shell supports it, so your leg tires less.

Care and servicing

The brake pad wears with every stop — check its height and replace it before it wears down completely. Swap the wheels around every few dozen hours of skating, because they wear unevenly.

How does the ABT brake work?

You push your leg with the brake forward, and all the wheels stay in contact with the ground the whole time. You stop smoothly and stably, without lifting the front of the skate as with a classic brake.

Can the brake be moved to the left skate?

Yes. It is on the right skate as supplied, but it can be moved to the left. If you do not want to do it yourself, we will help with servicing in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

How does it differ from the Macroblade 80 without the ABT designation?

In the brake. ABT in the name means an active brake that you use by pushing your leg forward; the Macroblade 80 black/lime has a brake without this system, fitted on the right skate.

Are these skates suitable for a beginner?

Yes. The model is designed for beginners and recreational skaters, and the ABT brake makes it easier to learn to stop from your very first outings.

What should I do if the size does not fit?

You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
