In brief
The Rollerblade Macroblade 80 W in grey/coral (Glacier Grey/Coral) are women's fitness skates for beginners and recreational skaters. They have a 265 mm aluminium Twinblade frame, 80 mm / 82A wheels and SG5 bearings, and the frame also takes 84 mm wheels. You fasten the boot with a buckle, a 45° strap and laces, and the brake is fitted at the factory.

Who it’s for
- You are learning to skate and need a high cuff that stabilises the ankle.
- You skate recreationally and want the option of moving up later to 84 mm wheels without changing skates.
- You like a well-tightened boot — the laces, the 45° strap and the buckle let you set the pressure separately on the midfoot, instep and ankle.
When to choose something else
- You are looking for manoeuvrable skates for the city and for tricks — see urban and freeskate skates.
- You prefer a brake that lets you brake with all the wheels on the ground — see the Macroblade 80 ABT W.
Key features
- High cuff
- It stabilises the ankle, which gives confidence when learning and less fatigue on a longer route.
- Performance Form Fit liner and mesh
- An anatomically shaped liner with soft padding holds the foot like a sports boot, and the mesh in the upper improves breathability on warm days.
- Twinblade 265 mm frame with room for 84 mm wheels
- A stiff aluminium frame transfers the push-off energy well. Once you gain experience, you can fit 84 mm wheels, which roll further.
- 80 mm / 82A wheels and SG5 bearings
- The soft 82A compound keeps grip and absorbs vibration, and the whole gives smooth skating at a moderate pace, good for learning.
- Fastening at three points
- The cuff buckle, the 45° strap and the laces let you adjust the pressure separately in several places on the foot.
- Brake fitted at the factory
- You can start learning to brake straight away, and once you have mastered other techniques, the brake can be removed.

Choosing your size
The Macroblade 80 W is a women's model. Each size is listed with its insole length in millimetres: measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe, ideally in the evening and in the sock you skate in, and compare the result with this value.
If you fall between two sizes or have a wide foot, try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
| Insole length | EU size | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| 245 mm | 38.5 | ships within 24 h |
| 250 mm | 39 | ships within 24 h |
| 265 mm | 41 | ships within 24 h |
Measure your foot in millimetres (heel against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe) and choose an insole equal to that length or 2–5 mm longer. Full measuring guide

Care and servicing
Swap the wheels around every few dozen hours of skating, because they wear unevenly, mainly on the inner edge. After skating in the rain, dry the skates before you put them away in a bag.
Questions and answers
What are the largest wheels I can fit in the Macroblade 80 W?
84 mm. As supplied, the skates run on 80 mm wheels, and the Twinblade frame lets you swap them for larger ones, 84 mm in diameter.
Are these skates suitable for a beginner?
Yes. These are skates for beginners and recreational skaters: the high cuff stabilises the ankle, and the brake is fitted at the factory.
How do I choose the size?
This is a women's model, and sizes are given in EU numbering. For each size you will find the insole length in millimetres, which you compare with your measured foot length.
Can the brake be removed?
Yes. It is fitted at the factory, but it can be removed once you brake using another technique.
What should I do if the size does not fit?
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
