In brief

Luminous LED light-up wheels 80 mm / 85A white are a set of 4 wheels of milky polyurethane, which diffuses the light of the LEDs and gives a pure white glow after dark. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo, with no batteries or charging. The set includes four magnetic spacers, and the wheels take standard 608 bearings.

Diameter: 80 mm
Hardness: 85A
Quantity: 4 (a set for one four-wheel skate)
Material: polyurethane (PU)
Profile: full
Lighting: LED, powered by a magnetic dynamo (no batteries)

Who it’s for

You skate around town or on paths in the evenings and want your skates to be visible to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
You have four-wheel skates with a frame for 80 mm wheels and are looking for a replacement that adds light at the same time.
You prefer a classic, neutral colour that matches any skates.
You do not want to charge or replace batteries in your wheels.

When to choose something else

The frame of your skates does not take 80 mm wheels — check the print on the old wheels and look at the skate wheels in another diameter.
You need a set for a pair of skates in one pack — the set contains 4 pieces, i.e. wheels for one skate.

Key features

Magnetic dynamo instead of batteries: The LEDs are powered by the movement of the wheels, so you do not charge them or replace the batteries in them.
Milky white polyurethane: It transmits light well, and without coloured pigments the LEDs give a pure, bright white glow.
80 mm diameter: A bigger wheel than 76 mm rolls faster and holds its speed longer; it needs a frame that takes 80 mm.
Hardness 85A: A compromise between comfort and durability: the polyurethane grips the surface and wears slowly and evenly.
Full profile: It gives stability on the straight and a large contact area with the surface.

Care and servicing

From time to time rotate the wheels, because they wear mainly along the inner edge.

Questions and answers

Do light-up wheels need batteries?

No. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo, and the wheels glow when they turn. There are no batteries and no charging.

Are 4 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

No. Four wheels are a set for one four-wheel skate. For a pair you need two sets.

Do these wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame of your skates takes 80 mm wheels and the bearings are standard 608. Check the print on the old wheels; you move the bearings over from them or choose them separately.

What colour light do the white wheels give?

White. The milky polyurethane diffuses the light of the LEDs, and the lack of coloured pigments does not change its colour.

Can I return the wheels if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
