Care and servicing

Swap the wheels around so that they wear evenly — rotation extends their life. For the white polyurethane to glow in the dark, expose the wheels beforehand to daylight or a lamp.

Questions and answers

Do the wheels need batteries or charging?

No. The LEDs work on the principle of a magnetic dynamo and glow as you skate, so there are no batteries to replace and no charging.

Do the wheels glow when I am standing still?

The LEDs glow only in motion. The white polyurethane is also fluorescent: after exposure to daylight or artificial light it gives off a greenish glow even after the light is switched off.

How many sets do I need for a pair of skates?

Two. One set has 4 wheels, which is as many as one four-wheel skate takes.

Are bearings included?

No. The set contains 4 wheels and 4 magnetic spacers. The wheels take standard 608 bearings, which you can move across from your old wheels or buy separately.

Will 80 mm wheels fit my skates?
