In brief

Luminous LED 80 mm / 85A dark pearl with glitter light-up wheels (Black Pearl Glitter variant) are a set of 4 wheels made of dark, semi-transparent polyurethane with fine glitter set into it. By day they look understated; after dark they glow from the inside. They are powered by a magnetic dynamo, and the set includes four magnetic spacers.

Diameter: 80 mm
Hardness: 85A
Number of pieces: 4 (set for one four-wheel skate)
Material: polyurethane (PU)
Profile: full
Lighting: LED, powered by a magnetic dynamo (no batteries)

Who it’s for

You skate in the evenings in the city or on paths and want your skates to be visible to pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
You have four-wheel skates with a frame for 80 mm wheels and want a replacement that adds light as well.
You prefer wheels that look understated by day and show their light effect only after dark.
You do not want to charge wheels or replace batteries in them.

When to choose something else

The frame of your skates does not take 80 mm wheels — check the print on your old wheels and see wheels of a different diameter.
You need wheels for a pair of skates in one pack — the set is 4 pieces, which is wheels for one skate.

Key features

Magnetic dynamo instead of batteries: The LEDs are powered by the movement of the wheels, so there is nothing to charge and no batteries to replace.
Dark semi-transparent polyurethane with glitter: Light passes through the dark material and reflects off the fine glitter, so the wheels glow from the inside.
80 mm diameter: A larger wheel than 76 mm rolls faster and holds speed for longer; it needs a frame that takes 80 mm.
85A hardness: A compromise between comfort and durability: the polyurethane grips the surface and wears slowly and evenly.
Full profile: Gives stability on a straight line and a large contact area with the surface.

Questions and answers

Do light-up wheels need batteries?

No. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo and the wheels glow when they turn. There are no batteries and no charging.

Are 4 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

No. Four wheels are a set for one four-wheel skate. For a pair you need two sets.

Will these wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame of your skates takes 80 mm wheels and the bearings are the 608 standard. Check the print on your old wheels; you can move the bearings across from them or buy them separately.

Do the dark wheels glow after dark?

Yes. The light of the LEDs passes through the dark, semi-transparent polyurethane and reflects off the glitter, while by day the wheels look understated.

Can I return the wheels if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
