In brief

The Rollerblade Microblade in navy/orange are adjustable skates for a child who is only starting to skate. The semi-soft boot with Junior liner padding ventilates the foot well, the composite frame is joined to the shell, and the 72 mm / 80A wheels on SG3 bearings roll calmly. You change the length with a button on the side, and the brake is in the set.

Who it’s for

  • You are looking for your child's first skates and want them to have a brake from day one.
  • You prefer an adjustable model that you simply lengthen when the foot grows.
  • Your child cares about comfort: a soft, airy boot works for longer play in the yard and the park.

When to choose something else

Key features

Extendable shell
You press the button on the side and move the shell to the next marking; the skate keeps up with the growing foot.
Semi-soft boot with a Junior liner
The semi-soft construction is comfortable from the first time it is put on, and the liner and ventilation openings reduce foot sweating.
Composite frame joined to the shell
The frame and shell form a single whole with a low centre of gravity, which gives your child stability and control.
72 mm / 80A wheels and SG3 bearings
A calm speed and soft rolling on asphalt and paving stones — good conditions for learning.
Brake in the set
It is on the skate from the start; after mastering other braking techniques you can take it off.

Choosing your size

You change the size with the button on the side of the skate, extending the shell according to the marking on the side. Measure your child's foot in millimetres, in the sock for skating, and compare it with the insole length given for the range.

The range in which the foot falls close to the lower limit leaves the most room to grow. If the result is on the border of two ranges, try the skates on in Poznań or Wrocław.

Measure your foot in millimetres (heel against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe) and choose an insole equal to that length or 2–5 mm longer. Full measuring guide

Care and servicing

Check the condition of the brake pad and replace it when it is badly worn. After every change of size, tighten the wheel axles if they have worked loose.

Questions and answers

Is the brake included?

Yes, the brake is standard equipment. Once your child has learnt to brake with other techniques, you can remove it.

How do I lengthen the skates when the foot grows?

You press the button on the side of the skate and extend the shell to the next size marking.

What does a frame joined to the shell give me?

Stability. The frame and shell form a single whole, and the foot is low above the ground, which makes it easier for your child to keep balance.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
