In brief

Rollerblade Microblade purple/black are adjustable skates for kids who are learning and developing their technique. You change the size by four full sizes with one button, the light mesh upper lets air through, and the Lo-Bal composite frame with 72 mm / 80A wheels and SG3 bearings can later be converted to a 3 × 80 mm layout.

Who it’s for

  • Your child has only recently started skating and you want skates that will last them once they gain confidence.
  • The foot grows fast and you would rather change the size with one button than buy a new pair every year.
  • Your child skates mostly on warm days and needs a breathable mesh upper.

Key features

Adjustment over four full sizes
One button releases the shell, and the markings at the front of the boot show where to set the length.
Mesh upper and Junior Fit liner
The light mesh ventilates the foot, and the liner fits like a sock, so nothing rubs during longer play.
Lo-Bal composite frame
The frame is integrated with the boot and set low: the low centre of gravity makes balance and control easier.
72 mm / 80A wheels, SG3 bearings
Smooth rolling at a pace that is safe for beginners; the soft compound grips the asphalt well.
Option to convert to 3 × 80 mm
Once your child gains confidence, the frame can be converted to three larger wheels, which roll faster.
Buckle, 45° velcro strap and laces
The foot sits steadily in the boot, and putting the skates on is simple.

Choosing your size

The skate adjusts by four full sizes, so you buy it for a range of sizes. Measure your child's foot in millimetres, from the heel to the end of the longest toe, and compare it with the insole length given for the range.

You get the most seasons from the range in which your child's foot falls at its start. If the result is on the borderline, try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Measure your foot in millimetres (heel against the wall, to the tip of your longest toe) and choose an insole equal to that length or 2–5 mm longer. Full measuring guide

Care and servicing

After changing the size, make sure the button has locked the shell. Every few rides, check that the axles are tight and rotate the wheels so they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

By how many sizes can the skates be extended?

By four full sizes. You change the length with one button, and the markings at the front of the boot show the correct setting.

Can I skate on three wheels?

Yes, after converting them. The frame allows a 3 × 80 mm layout, which gives more speed to a child who already skates confidently.

Are 72 mm / 80A wheels suitable for learning?

Yes. The small diameter and soft compound keep the pace calm and the grip good, so it is easier for your child to control the skates.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
