Who it’s for

  • You skate fast in the city and want more speed and stability than 4×80 setups give.
  • You do slides and jumps, and you want the shell with a side slider to protect the boot when you slide.
  • You like having a say in the look and configuration: the model can be customised in colour (Custom Kits), and the 165 mm SSM mounting fits many frames.

When to choose something else

  • You prefer 80 mm wheels and a shorter frame — see the FR1 80.
  • You are looking for even bigger 90 mm wheels — see the FR1 90.

Key features

84 mm / 85A wheels and a 4D 255 mm frame
Bigger wheels give more speed than 80 mm, and the 255 mm frame — shorter than on the FR1 90, longer than on 4×80 setups — keeps stability without losing manoeuvrability.
Cuff with 16 settings
You fit the height and tilt angle to your own build and skating style.
PU/PP shell with a replaceable slider
The stiff shell holds the foot, and the slider protects the boot when you slide.
Liner with a shock absorber
The removable liner absorbs shocks, and the lacing in the upper part improves ankle hold.
165 mm SSM mounting plates
The metal plates fit many frames on the market, so you can change the frame later.

Care and servicing

The liner is removable, so after skating dry it separately from the shell.

Questions and answers

How do the FR1 84 differ from the FR1 80 and FR1 90?

In the wheels, the frame length and the cuff adjustment. The FR1 84 has four 84 mm wheels and a 255 mm frame, the FR1 80 has 80 mm wheels and a 243 mm frame, and the FR1 90 has 90 mm wheels and a 273 mm frame. The cuff on the FR1 84 has 16 settings, on the FR1 80 four positions.

Are the FR1 84 suitable for a beginner?

Rather not. This is a model for demanding, intermediate and advanced riders who are looking for more speed and stability than 4×80 setups give.

Can I change the frame?

Yes. The 165 mm SSM metal mounting plates fit many frames on the market.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
